Hahnemuhle Announces Photo Rag Metallic Fine Art Paper
Hahenmühle will show its new Photo Rag® Metallic fine art inkjet paper at the 2018 Photokina imaging show from Sept. 26-29 in Cologne, Germany.
Made from pure cotton fibers, this natural-white, 340 gsm paper has a high-gloss, metallic baryta coating that adds a unique silvery shimmering effect to art and photo prints.
Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic is particularly good for architectural, nature, or fine-art photographs that feature metallic elements, reflections, ice, or glass. It also adds a special shine to black-and-white photographs with high-contrast tones.
The high-gloss, premium inkjet coating on this acid-free, lignin-free paper supports the perfect reproduction of color and detail. The paper is ISO 9706-compliant to meet museum standards for long-term resistance to aging under normal use and storage in archives.
Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic fine art paper is compatible with inkjet printers that use aqueous dye or aqueous pigment inks. It will be available this fall in four sheet sizes from 8.5 x 11 inches up to 17 x 22 inches and in five roll widths from 17 inches to 50 inches.
In the U.S., this exciting new addition to the Hahnemühle collection of Digital FineArt paper will launched at the Photo Plus Expo, October 25-27, at the Javits Conference Center in New York. Visit Hahnemühle USA at Booth 237.
