HP Recycled Satin Canvas Wins SGIA Product of the Year Award
When HP announced their new DesignJet Z6 and Z9 printers at the FESPA 2018 show in Berlin in May, they also announced plans to introduce an innovative canvas made from recycled water bottles. This new HP Recycled Satin Canvas recently won a 2018 Product of the Year Award from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association(SGIA) in the Textile: Canvas category.
HP Recycled Satin Canvas is an affordable, 14. high-performance, durable canvas that is compatible with HP DesignJet inks. It streamlines the production of art canvases by eliminating the need for a protective clear coating.
Converting recycled water bottles into canvas saves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and diverts plastics from landfills.
HP Recycled Satin Canvas will be featured in the HP Booth 1147 and 1161 during the SGIA Expo from October 18-20 in Las Vegas. It will also be displayed along with the award-winning products in the Golden Image Product of the Year Gallery at the SGIA Expo.
Limited quantities were made available last summer. The product is scheduled to be released in November.
